HWMC provides social events, resources, and education to families across the north shore of Massachusetts. As a member-driven, public-spirited group, we actively invest in and work to build an uplifting and inclusive environment for our membership. While we are founded upon a recognized need to support the unique role of motherhood, we know that parenthood takes many forms and that our children and families face varying circumstances and needs. We welcome and celebrate families of every shape, size, and makeup.

Mothers’ Club Membership Offerings:

Events for Children: Participate in monthly special events which include a Halloween Parade, Easter Egg Hunt, Cookie Decorating and more like yoga classes, visits to local play spaces and meet ups with special character visits.
Events for Families: Join us for family-oriented activities like storytellers, magicians, family-friendly performances, bowling nights, movie theater rentals, pizza making parties and more. We also sponsor entertainment at the Hamilton Wenham Block Parties.
Events for Moms: Moms can attend numerous social events including monthly Mom’s Night Out Events, fitness and enrichment classes, our Book Club, and more.
Dad's Night Out: Gathering partners to connect and relax, this group also meets monthly.
Events for Parents: We also host events for couples in our membership including an Annual Kentucky Derby Party and Keg Party.
Monthly Newsletter: Stay informed with a monthly newsletter that highlights upcoming Mothers’ Club event information and other family-oriented activities nearby.
Facebook Community: Connect with other families via our members-only Facebook page which allows members to share tips, recommendations, and other information.
Playgroups for various ages: Attend weekly playgroups for babies, toddlers and an “all ages” playground meet up.
Meal Delivery by Fellow Members: Members volunteer to make meals for families that have welcomed new babies or that are experiencing hardship.
Community Outreach Donation Drives: Participate in donation drives for local charities and support local organizations through fundraising.

Founded in 1913, the HWMC has a long history of striving to enrich and give back to our communities. We support local businesses through our programming whenever possible, and through charitable giving and service we support non-profit organizations across the North Shore and are always open to new opportunities to contribute.

Spring is in full swing and we have a full line up of activities to get you out and about! It was so fun to see everyone who made the Egg Hunt this weekend. A huge thanks to Fig Balloon Co. for donating our balloon arch and to Shana Coletti who donated her time again as our beloved bunny.

We hope to see new members who joined our club since last spring for one of our favorite annual traditions - the New Member Social! The reception is Thursday 4/4 and features delicious treats and beverages and is a great venue to meet fellow moms and learn more about the Club's programming.

For Wellness this month we will be having a mom’s yoga class on April 10th and there’s still room to join us for that, so hop on Wild Apricot to register if you need a night to unwind. Toddler Playgroup and Baby Group are still meeting weekly - it’s never too late to join them! In addition, Book Club is excited to be reading Black Cake by Charmaine Wilkerson this month, a book that was recently adopted into a limited series by AppleTV. Then, we are very excited for our Parents’ Night Out Keg Party and are hoping for great weather and a fun adult night out that will raise meaningful funds through our Beirut tournament for Community Giving Tree. This is a great night to grab a sitter and take the night off to mingle, play games and enjoy a casual evening outside. On that note, don’t forget we are collecting items for the Community Giving Tree through the end of April so it’s a great time to clean out your kids’ closets and toys or grab an extra item or two at check out. See the Community Outreach section below to learn more about their greatest needs at this time as well as drop sites in both Hamilton and Wenham. Keep in mind - any HWMC event is also an opportunity to donate and any council member can help get your donations into the right hands. A HUGE thanks to all who have participated already.
