Happy new year! We hope everyone had a beautiful holiday with family and friends, enjoying the magic of the season with little ones. As merry and special as the holidays are, it sure feels good to vacuum up the last of the evergreen needles and get back into a routine!
We are so excited for our line up of fun events for 2017 and can’t wait to reconnect. What better way to kick off the new year than with our new weekly fitness meet-up?! Grab your BOB or hiking pack, lace up your sneakers (or snow shoes) and load up the kiddos, we are getting outside for a good sweat and some laughs with Casey Corbett as she leads the way. See below and be sure to sign up for updates on time and location.
Thank you for everyone’s generous contributions to the Community Outreach drive over the holiday. We are thrilled to look into January by sharing the joy of reading with a book drive for Pathways. Who better than our children to know what books will put a smile on another child’s face!
The winter is off to a mild start but there are snowflakes on the horizon. and we are looking forward to We have already enjoyed an energetic afternoon indoors at the Children’s Piazza with friends. A big “Thank You” to Bedrooms (www.bedrooms1.com) of Peabody, MA for sponsoring this event and providing us with a pizza dinner while we are were there!
Speaking of snowflakes, our Toddler Play Group and Baby Group still run strong through the winter months. As we turn indoors for our weekly meet-ups, we are always grateful for a volunteer to take a turn and host a week. Please let Marta or Melissa know if this is something you would like to do and thanks in advance.
Is it just us, or is there so much to catch up on? Don’t miss the second Tuesday at 15 Walnut with our Mom’s Night Out team and new for 2017, Dad’s Nut Out the third Tuesday of the month! Speaking of catching up, we love hearing from you! Please don’t be shy if you have an idea to share. Your feedback and participation is what makes this club great! Thank you to our hard working Council for keeping great events in the pipeline and making this another great year filled with gatherings and good friends.
See you soon,
Anna Rossi & Jane Henry
