| Repeat after me: We will not let a snow storm in October keep us from finding ways to get outside! And at least we’re all ahead of the game now in terms of digging out all of the snow gear??? If you take a moment to read through this month’s newsletter you’ll take comfort in the fact that no matter the weather, we’ve got you covered. From virtual events geared toward getting us all healthy and centered, to outdoor excursions like a ‘Moon Walk’ at Appleton, the council has been hard at work planning events that equally leverage the power of connection through technology and the freedom and safety of the great outdoors. Be sure to keep an eye out for information and invites via email and our Facebook page, as events fill up fast – especially given the need to limit attendance to remain compliant with COVID regulations. On that note, thank you all for being considerate of this and notifying council members if you can no longer make an event you’ve registered for, as it has allowed those on the wait lists an opportunity to participate. |
