With snow on the ground and the seemingly endless cycle of illnesses rolling through our homes it’s clear that winter is definitely here. And while we try our best to enjoy each season we are in, it’s already time to start planning ahead for summer! With camp registrations already open or opening up soon, we wanted to provide our members with a resource of some local summer camps. This list is by no means exhaustive, but hopefully it gives you a good starting point if you are new to the world of summer camps.
We also have several fun things in the works for moms and kiddos alike to carry us through the rest of the winter and spring. Mom’s Night Out meet-ups, floral workshops, workout classes and a chance to visit the North Shore Children’s Museum are all being planned, so keep an eye on your emails for more details and invites coming soon!
We also wanted to let you know that we have recently made a donation on behalf of the HWMC to The Community House to help cover part of the cost of tuition for a local family in need that relies on their after school childcare program. We are proud to be a part of a community where we can work together to help those in need.
Our club functions thanks to the hard work of our council members who volunteer their time to bring all of these HWMC offerings to life. We are so grateful for the time and energy these moms devote to their roles. We are already starting to organize our 2023-2024 Council.
