Despite an unexpectedly 2020-ish start, we hope as we enter February, that 2021 is taking a turn for the better for everyone. It’s getting dark a bit later, Tom Brady will keep the Super Bowl interesting, we’ve welcomed a bunch of adorable babies, we made (and drank) Sangria, people are getting vaccinated – we’ll just continue to find as much light as we can to get through the rest of this winter! And along those lines, the council has been hard at work planning and coordinating a bunch of programs to help keep our members connected and entertained throughout these cold months as well. Whether you pop into some of our recurring programs like Breathing Room or Craft & Chat, decide to give Cooking Club a go, or finally get from page 1 through to the end of a Book Club book – we hope you’ll join us as we’ve had a great (virtual) time together and have enjoyed seeing many new faces throughout the past few months. As we get closer and closer to the spring, we’re hopeful we can start to bring some of our programs outside as well to break things up a bit and get some much needed fresh air and time away from the screen(s).

While we’ve found a lot of really creative and fun ways to connect, we encourage members to share any and all ideas for virtual programs that could be of interest to the club. So please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at hwmothersclub@gmail.com.
